Israel has many Biblical Holidays, none more solemn than this day Tisha-B’Av, is a day Jews fast and commemorates the destruction of both the first and second Temples (586 B.C.E. and 70 C.E. and sent Jews into exile, slavery and hunger for thousands of years. There are many tragedies that have struck the Jewish people on Tisha-B’Av (9th day of Av on the Jewish calendar). Jews gather together and read the book of Lamentations while sitting on the ground leaning on each other while lamenting. So much more could be said about today August 6th and 7th (9th of Av) but what I want to share with you is a parallel I see in this years commemoration of Tisha-B’Av. As the evil hatred of anti-Semitism spreads across the world like no other time I’ve witnessed in 82 years only proves to me that the days we now live are in deed the last days, the Devil hates no one more than the Jews or the true Believers in Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Jewish Messiah). As the time of the Gentiles comes to a close and we see Ezekiel 38:5 forming before our eyes in the daily news. This ministry has found it necessary to open a new branch of ministry to help feed as many Israeli Jews as possible. As one in three kids go to bed hungry in Israel today. We have spent a lot of time, finances setting up ways to save European Jews from the coming Holocaust by boats. That part of the ministry has not only changed it has advanced to a higher level, it has become obvious with the drop in support because of COVID-19 and inflations and many other factors that we no longer are able to maintain a fleet of boats with crews and mooring etc. God gave Joel a vision that we now have all the information that the boat owners here in Israel and throughout the region will need to assist them as to where to go, who to speak with, times of landings and emergency communications and many other necessary pieces of info to make successful operations. But for now we must begin setting up food supplies not only for the hungry here in Israel but for those who will later be rescued and will be arriving in Israel at a time of war or right after one. We must begin feeding the poor that many Jews are now leaving Russia and Ukraine and European countries with noting more than the clothing on their backs. We now have a list of many thousands who are desperately in need of food. We continue to increase our weekly distribution of food in hopes of being able to help more many more. One of our greatest needs is the ability to open a warehouse to organize and distribute food and organize others to assist. To donate. To close with this today is Tisha-B’Av and we have seen more Jews visiting the Temple Mount than any other time of the past few decades. They are doing it without fear of all the death threats and rioting promised if we do. Jews are crying for the Third Temple to be built. Today as we remember the destructions of the Temples we are being bombed with several hundred missiles out of Gaza, even Jerusalem is being shelled from Gaza. While they shoot at our cities and civilians, a war crime but not a mention of it from the UN. If God has given you the knowledge of the importance of Israel in these days then you know why we must continue forward to save and feed Jews and now it’s time to prepare to do that.
