A little preaching is in order

You will find this report a little different from others you're reading these days.  I know  that what everyone really wants from me is news from Israel, so I give that as much as possible, but God has placed something very firmly on my heart these past few days.  It seems that we so readily fall into the trap of seeking after more and more knowledge concerning the end times rather than seeking God's Kingdom and His Righteousness.  Instead, some try to use their knowledge of His Word to present a self righteousness that is simply spiritual pride - and  that is a stench in the nostrils of God.

We are all concerned about current events here in Israel and throughout the entire world, but should we be so concerned that we forget to keep our eyes on our first love?  John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another…   Gal.6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

There is not a single person reading this that isn't guilty of allowing their tongue to corrupt their relationship with God from time to time.  All of us need to make our daily trip to the foot of the cross  - allowing the blood to cover our sins. Jas.3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.  It seems to be so easy for "men and women of God" to speak evil of others who may or may not be correct in what they are preaching simply because they do not agree with their understanding or doctrine.  God has given us a spirit of discernment and the Ruach Ha Koddesh (Holy Spirit) will quicken us if we take everything to Him for proving. I-John 4:1.  The destinations of their souls is not dependant upon our approval -  it is God who searches the heart and makes that decision. We have only one commandment which Yeshua (Jesus) gave us,  and that is to love one another.  Instead of speaking evil of others we should not only love them,  but exhort them to do good and to draw close to Messiah Yeshua. Heb.3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. It would seem to me that we have a full time job trying to keep our own thoughts and intentions toward others Godly, and not allow ourselves to move so readily into sin.

We are living in the end times - many terrible things are occurring - and much worse is about to happen.  We can study Scripture (and we should daily) but not to be judgmental or full of spiritual pride, but to draw closer to God.  Our works and knowledge will not be the reason for our entry into the Kingdom of God  Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast

Daniel 12:4b many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Out of fear of what is happening in the world and the potential for our world to change in terrible ways,  many find it so easy to be distracted from God's Word and the purpose of the Cross and the Blood.  I am not saying we should not prepare and be knowledgeable - but I am saying that we, as Believers in Yeshua,  must keep our eyes on the things of God and not on the things of this world.  I find myself drifting in that directions and God has to shake me from time to time, but this fear is not of God.  I-John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  God will never forsake you, but He didn't promise that you would not have to go through trials, He did, however,  promise that He would be with you through them.  The only way you will be a witness during  the coming events is to be found in God's love and understand that He has given your soul eternal life, yet not your body.

Everyone reading this has been given a Spiritual Gift, you were born with certain gifts in different dimensions but when you became a child of God under the Blood of Yeshua you became a New Creature in Yeshua (Christ).  I challenge you to read a book I wrote ("Gifts of the Spirit through the Tabernacle") on this subject.  It is a free download and can be found by clicking here; BOOK.

Every Born Again Believer reading this has been given by God a certain ministry,  or ministries within the Body of Messiah.  In that book I have also given you a test so you can find out what your gift or gifts may be.  It will also give you a better understanding of other members of the Body of Messiah and give you a new appreciation and love for them.

It seems that the name calling and accusations have increased in these last days. For this reason I know the time is near for this Ministry to go into full action.  It makes little to no matter what others call me or you, as long as you know you're right with God and seeking Him daily in your life and Ministry.  I have no shame in asking for your support to save my precious Jewish brethren from the coming Holocaust.  This ministry, nor the Golden family own any property. We rent our home in a moshave (village) in the Judean Hills.  Connie and I seldom see either of the two boats.  One here in Israel our son takes care of, and the other in Turkey is taken care of by a dear friend.  They are both very expensive to maintain,  but God supplies, and we have no savings account. We  try to do all the office-work ourselves in order to keep down overheads and we do this from our home.  We travel with a laptop and try to keep all the correspondence up-to-date;  something in which we are not always successful - but we do eventually get around to it!

As God supplies the finances we expand the ministry by seeking out new safe houses and communications where they are needed.  God has given us wonderful people to assist us without pay, and they too are called to this ministry and answer to God for that,  as we do.  We need a much larger boat and I have written of that need many times.  You can find out what kind of boat we need by clicking HERE.

We have also taken on a new family here in Israel to help them with their food needs.  They live in a Kibbutz near Hebron and they are very brave Jews.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers.  Pray for this Ministry and your part in it.  Shalom, Jerry Golde
